Thanks for your positive reactions.
I very much look forward to reading you comments on your novel.
Yes, good idea! I have not read so many pages yet, but so far so good...
I have read the half book now and have to say that it is a little unstructured. The story line is a little fussy and I can not really find out what the main reason in the book is... However, the language is on a good level. Even though I do not understand every single word I can conclude the main sentences.
We are going to have our first book discussion tomorrow and that will be interesting!
So long then=)
We had our first book discussion last week which went OK. It was difficult to discuss the book and describe it to someone else who have not been reading it.
Well, now I have finished the book and I can not say that I am truly convinced about that this is a good book...
..., because...:-)
We have had our second and last book discussion today. It was not much of a discussion because the book is so confusing. This is not such a good book because it is so messy but I think it would be easier to read in Swedish.
I totally agree with Ninni´s comment´s.
Now we have already discussed the whole book, but I think it was still very fussy and hard to understand. But now when we read the whole book you get to know more about how the book is written, and the writer wants the reader to understand more about the main characters through descriptions about the black girl and her friends and family. The book is most from the girl Pecolas perspectives. And how she experience her adventure.
Like we said before, you should maybe read the book more than once to understand it more precisely. So like I said before, I agree with Ninni that the book is maybe not so good, but I think that we have learn something from the book anyway because they talked about the differences between white and black people.
I think the idea of the book it´s great, but it´s very messy because the writer jumps back and forward all the time.
